The Sport Makers Journey
The first step on the Sport Makers' journey is the attendance at a positive and inspirational three-hour workshop that will provide an introduction to the world of volunteering in sport. You will learn about Olympic and Paralympic values, leadership skills, working with others and safeguarding.(Attend a workshop and you will receive a free Adidas polo shirt and drawstring bag.)
Following the workshop, you will be provided with volunteering opportunities that will suit your interest and location. Opportunities will be continually updated on our new Sport Makers website where you will be able to register as a volunteer, search for placement opportunities and log your progress and receive awards along the way.
