Natasha wins South West award
Cornwall Netball Development Officer Natasha Howard has won the Netball South West Community Volunteer Award.
Natasha, who works for the Cornwall Sports Partnership, received her award in a special ceremony at Dillington Hall in Somerset for the time she dedicates to volunteering outside of her professional role.
The award was given out as part of England Netball’s Goalden Globes which recognises the success of the volunteers who make such a huge contribution to clubs across the Country.
Natasha is a coach in the Cornwall Netball Youth system and has been instrumental in helping the county’s development programme flourish to boasting six separate academies.
She will now go on to represent the South West at the National Awards in Leicestershire in September.
Cornwall Netball had four other members short-listed for awards. They were Ali Shipwright and Carolyn Garman in the Mary Bulloch Administrator Award, David White in the Grassroots Coach Award and Truro College Netball Academy in the NextGen Award. All nominees received special pins as a memento from Netball South West.
