Don't miss the chance to nominate your volunteers for the Cornwall Sports Awards
With nominations for the 2011 Cornwall Sports Awards open for just one more month, make sure you don't miss the chance to recognise all the hard work put in by your sports volunteers!
Now in its sixth year, the Cornwall Sports Awards is designed to recognise and honour the contributions made by dedicated sports coaches, officials, clubs, volunteers and young leaders from across the county. The event has grown every year since it started in 2006 and is now a key date in the Cornish sports calendar.
This year the Awards ceremony will be taking place at The Atlantic Hotel in Newquay on November 11, and will see four categories, incorporating 13 separate Awards, being presented: Coaching, Club, Volunteering, and Sportivate Project. Winners from a number of the categories are also automatically put through to various national Awards. Further details of each award can be found by clicking here.
