Could you be the BBC's Last Woman Standing?

Last Woman Standing

Finally women are getting the chance we’ve all been waiting for - to compete to become the 'Last Woman Standing'...

The BBC's 'Last Man Standing' proved to be ground-breaking viewing, mixing anthropology with fierce competition. Our six male athletes lived with indigenous peoples, trained with them, helped slaughter their own supper, were warmly welcomed into their host villages and then thrown brutally into training and competition.

'Last Woman Standing' aims to pick up this mantle once again and see how women cope in these remote corners of the globe.

  • Are you at the peak of physical fitness?
  • Do you have a thirst to explore some of the most remote places on the planet?
  • Have you a desire to live with and learn from traditional tribal communities?

If your answer is ‘Yes’ and you would be available from the middle of May to the beginning of September 2009, then please go to the BBC’s website: www.bbc.co.uk/lastmanstanding/apply/ and follow the steps to apply.
