CHICKS Open Wednesday Invitation

In order to give supporters a better idea of the good work that CHICKS do, the charity are this year hosting a series of Open Days, on various Wednesdays over the coming months, at their retreat in Tywardreath.

Sunday 6 September (Summer fayre)
7 October
4 November
2 December

These days are open to organisations of all sizes and we welcome current and prospective supporters alike. Open Day Invitation

The Open Days will run from 11am to 1pm, starting with a talk and followed by a tour around the grounds. Refreshment will also be provided.

There will be the chance to chat to members of staff, and ask them further questions about their roles and the work they do for CHICKS.

Information packs will also be available for you to take away and read at your leisure.

About CHICKS

CHICKS is a registered charity which offers free residential respite breaks for disadvantaged children from across the UK, who would not otherwise have a holiday .We receive no government funding and rely on the support of corporations like yourselves, as well as our individual supporters and trusts. We have two retreats set in beautiful parts of the Westcountry—one at Tywardreath in Cornwall, and the other at Brentor in Devon. Both retreats have accommodation and catering facilities for the children, volunteers and supervisors, as well as a variety of facilities such as play barns, trampolines, football pitches and a disco. By visiting our Coastal Retreat in Cornwall we hope that you will gain a clearer idea of the work that CHICKS does, and maybe even give you a chance to try out the facilities for yourselves!
