Celefest 2009
Youth Cornwall have been selected out of 50 local authorities to be one of ten pilot projects to celebrate young people’s achievements to counteract the negative perceptions often held about young people and the negative image sometimes portrayed in the media.
This is a youth led project co-ordinating various events across the county that will explode into an exciting and spectacular showcase celebration at the Eden Project on 11th February 2009, displaying a broad variety of creative and inspiring achievements.
Young people’s achievements often go unrecognised or unacknowledged. We aim to highlight and celebrate young people’s successes which we hope will be acclaimed by the media and people all ages.
