Sport England Inspired Facilities Funding Workshop
Join us for a free workshop on Monday 13th February at the Heron Tennis Centre in Newquay and find out how you can unlock vital funding to improve your community centre, sports club or local facility.
Sport England currently has funding available to help local communities improve and upgrade their facilities and they are targeting Cornwall specifically! And, representatives from Sport England will be leading two workshops next month giving you the opportunity to ask questions and source advice directly from the people who know the programme inside out.
Last year the Inspired Facilities funding programme was launched to make it easier for local community and volunteer groups to improve and refurbish sports clubs or transform non-sporting venues into modern grassroots sport facilities.
Following the announcement of the first round of successful projects last month, Sport England are now keen to invest in more projects in Cornwall and will be facilitating two free and informal workshops to help explain the programme and give advice on how you could best apply to make improvements to your community sports club or local facilities.
Both workshops are being held at the Heron Tennis Centre in Newquay on Monday 13th February:
2.30-4.30pm: For all professionals that may have an interest in improving community facilities
7-9pm: For sports clubs and all community and voluntary sector groups and organisations
To book your place, please use the booking form below.
If you are unable to attend a workshop but would like further information about applying for the Inspired Facilities funding, please contact Natasha Howard on 01872 323347 / nhoward@cornwall.gov.uk
