How to find us

NB The Penweathers Centre is situated on the old Richard Lander School site.

From the A30 (recommended route)

At Chiverton Cross roundabout, take the A390 towards Truro.
Go straight over the first two roundabouts (the first is by the Truro Park & Ride and the second is by Pizza Hut/McDonalds).
You will then see Truro College and the Leisure Centre on your right, and the retail park on your left. Go past these and straight over the roundabout by Treliske Hospital.
Continue straight at the following mini-roundabout.
After two sets of traffic lights you will see the old Richard Lander School on your right and a central bollard in front of you, indicate to turn right and merge into the central section between the bollards.
Turn right on to the drive, and veer to the right as you reach the top where you’ll arrive at the car park.
Having parked, enter the school site to the left (as opposed to heading towards the front entrance) and follow signs for the Sports Hall; after a short walk you will continue down some steps – the sports hall will be in front of you and we are the newerooking building, with mirrored windows, on the right.

From the A39 - Falmouth/Penryn & Helston

Take the A39 from Falmouth/Penryn/Helston in the direction of Truro.
When you approach Truro city centre, you’ll reach a set of mini roundabouts (signposted to St Austell/Bodmin to your right, to the city centre straight ahead and to Redruth to your left – turn left, following directions for Redruth.
At the next roundabout you will see Cornwall County Council on your left and Sainsburys on your right – go straight on (the road will start to take a steep incline).
Take the third left turn (next to the central turning section and between the bollards)
(NB if you pass Richard Lander School on your left, you have gone too far!)
Veer to the right as you reach the top of the drive and you’ll arrive at the car park.

From the A390 - St Austell

Follow the A309 from St Austell in the direction of Truro.
When you approach Truro city centre you will come to a set of traffic lights at a T-junction (with Allied Carpets on your right and Julian Foye on your left) – go straight on.
Continue forward, past two sets of traffic lights and you will reach a roundabout with a Shell Garage on your right – go straight on.
As you continue forward you will see the city centre on your right.
When you reach another roundabout (with Tesco on your left) go straight over and up the hill.
At the top of the hill you will reach two mini-roundabouts (signposted to Falmouth to your left, to the city centre to your right and straight ahead for Redruth) – go straight on.
