Volunteering for Freedom Surf

Freedom Surf have opportunities for Surfing Assistants.

Volunteers will be based at Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall – the capital of European surfing. Under the supervision of professional surfers, they will provide hands-on support for people with disabilities both in and out of the water. All volunteers will get practical experience of working with disabled people, including helping with access on and off the beach, wheelchair transfers and work in the water helping them surf.

Opportunities start from 1st February 2010 until the 1st August 2010
