Competition Manager

Maternity Cover (to be based in the north of the county of Wiltshire) 

Salary £28,636 pro rata. Wiltshire Grade K (point 34)  

Temporary open ended contract to cover maternity leave, 22 hours per week (41 working weeks) 

We require the Competition Managers’ post we require a committed PE/Sport professional to work strategically across five School Sports Partnerships with a specific responsibility for the Swindon School Sport Partnership and the north of the Avon Valley School Sports Partnership.  The role will be to manage a programme of competitive activities for young people using the national competition framework.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and management skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.  By maintaining links with key strategic partners, you will ensure that the competition programme is linked to other strands of the PESSCL Strategy and relevant programmes.  Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent.  Knowledge of Physical Education and School Sport and experience of event planning and organisation is essential for the post.
