There will be very limited viewing only on the southern cantilever of the Bridge.
Camborne/Pool/Redruth
Although this area is not on the official route for the Olympic Torch Relay, the communities in Camborne, Pool and Redruth have put together a programme of events on the evening of Friday 18 May and on Saturday, 19 May to celebrate this historic occasion. The events will be based around Heartlands.
Activities
- The Flame Festival fun begins on Friday 18th May 2012, when Heartlands will play host to a Cultural Olympiad, organised by Pool Academy. Over 450 children from local schools will each adopt a country and perform in an opening and closing ceremony.
- On Saturday 19th May, an exciting programme of cultural activities inspired by the countries of the Cornish Diaspora and the Olympics is planned. A large screen will display BBC coverage of the Torch Relay through Cornwall and there will be a FREE festival of dance, music, theatre, workshops and fun during the day and don't miss the fire show and firework finale in the evening
